We perform data recovery of all types of RAID arrays. ANY type of RAID LEVEL (0, 1, 5, 5E, 10, 6, etc). No matter the RAID level, no matter the drive or controller type.
Some advice:
- Always completely wipe (zeros) replacement drives BEFORE introducing them into your RAID array. Do not simply replace a failing drive with another drive without making sure the replacement drive is wiped clean.
- Make sure all cables and drives are properly labeled. We have seen people replace the wrong drives due to improper labeling. Sometimes controllers name drives differently than the manufacturer and sometimes drives are not physically placed in logical order either.
- *** Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should your run CHKDSK , Scandisk (Windows), FSCK (*Nix), or any other type of disk check utility or defragmenter on failing disks, as this may cause irreparable damage ***
